Every May 30 is celebrated as World Potato Day, and here we are not going to pretend that it is just another anniversary.
Because at Tosfrit we don’t just like potatoes. We love it. We respect it, we celebrate it and, yes, we turn it into some of the crunchiest snacks that have ever passed through your hands.
So, in case anyone doubted it: yes, we’re potateros. With great honor.
What is it about potatoes that others don’t have?
She has something that few things have: she doesn’t need to adorn herself to be hot. It doesn’t seek attention, nor does it need weird titles to get noticed. It is simple, but never boring.
We love her because she is able to solve an impromptu meal, liven up a meeting or accompany you on any given afternoon without asking for anything in return. It’s always there, at the right time.
And when fried well, with care, it becomes one of those little wonders that, without big speeches, make your day with just a crunch.
