Christmas Crafts and Tosfrit Snacks, the perfect afternoon

Christmas is just around the corner, and December is the ideal month to spend time with the family, especially with the little ones. How about an afternoon of Christmas crafts? Today we bring you 3 easy crafts you can do with the kids that will fill your home with Christmas spirit. Ready to create? Let’s get to work!

1. Tree decorations with clay 

A classic and super simple activity. All you need is:

• White or coloured clay (you can use air-dry).
• Biscuit cutters in Christmas shapes (stars, trees, reindeer, etc.).
• Acrylic paints or markers for decorating.
• String or twine for hanging.

How to do it:

1. Roll out the clay and use the cutters to shape your decorations.
2. Make a hole at the top to thread the string through.
3. Let the clay dry (according to the instructions on the package).
4. Once dry, paint and decorate as you like.
5. Thread the string through the hole and hang them on the tree.

While the clay dries, fill a bowl with Manchitos and have a good laugh with them – they’ll love them! 

2. Personalised Christmas cards 

Nothing nicer than receiving a handmade card. You will need:

• Coloured cardstock.
• Markers, stickers and glitter.
• Glue and scissors.

How to do it:

1. Fold the cards in half to create the card bases.
2. Let the little ones draw, write messages and decorate with glitter or stickers.
3. If you dare, add a 3D touch by gluing on paper cut-outs or fabric details.

Get the creative juices flowing with a bowl of buttery popcorn. Nothing like an irresistible snack to keep the energy up while decorating.

3. Snowmen with socks

This craft is adorable and perfect for little ones. All you need is:

• White socks.
• Rice for stuffing.
• Bows, buttons and fabric scraps to decorate.
• Glue or thread to attach the decorations.

How to do it:

1. Fill a sock halfway with rice and tie it with string to form the body.
2. Fill the head a little more and tie it again.
3. Decorate the doll with buttons, bows and scraps to create scarves and hats.
4. Ready to decorate any corner of your home!
