Joining forces against hunger: Tosfrit supports the #NoHomeWithoutFood campaign
At Tosfrit, we believe in the power of community and the importance of helping others. That’s why we are pleased to announce our participation in the #NoHomeWithoutFood campaign, an initiative led by Fundación La Caixa and CaixaBank to combat food poverty and provide assistance to those in need. Through this campaign, we are joining forces to donate food to the Food Bank of Ciudad Real, helping alleviate hunger and support vulnerable individuals and families in our community.
The recent report by the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) reveals that food poverty continues to be a persistent issue in Spain in 2023. Surprisingly, over 1.2 million people still require assistance to meet their basic food needs. The situation has been exacerbated by rising prices of essential products, making it even more challenging for food banks to obtain enough provisions to meet the growing demand.
The #NoHomeWithoutFood campaign: To address this critical situation, Fundación La Caixa and CaixaBank have launched the fourth edition of the ‘No Home Without Food’ campaign. With an initial contribution of 1 million euros from Fundación La Caixa, this initiative aims to raise awareness and collect donations to support food banks throughout Spain, including the Food Bank of Ciudad Real.
How to collaborate?
From now until July 7th, you can make donations through Bizum by sending a contribution to code 38014. Additionally, you can also collaborate through CaixaBank’s network of ATMs, the CaixaBankNow digital banking platform, or the website www.caixabank.es for non-customers of the bank. All funds raised will be distributed among the 54 food banks associated with FESBAL, ensuring that help reaches all provinces in Spain.
